The Central Consume Affairs Department takes action against the coaching centers, which cease to function and provide necessary services to the students and address to students’ concerns. Annually, approximately 600 students registered complaint against the coaching centers. The students who filed complaints received justice by refunding of Rs 1.56 Crore by various coaching centers.
Complaints registered specifically on coaching centers offering training for Civil Services, Engineering, and other higher professional courses, which are collecting fees but aren’t providing proper sessions, classes and study materials.
Union Minister Pralhad Joshi reacted on student’s concern and stated his directory to permit affected students to file grievances through the National Consumer Helpline (NCH). The directory has warned the all the coaching centers to provide quality training rather than treating institutions as business.
